Purpose 

The purpose of the Government Liaison Committee is to monitor Local, State, and U.S. Government. In addition, the committee shall research topics that are pertinent to students and lobby on behalf of the students of the University of Nebraska - Lincoln with the approval of the ASUN Senate. The committee is divided into three subcommittee, local, state and national.

The committee consists of five ASUN Senators appointed by the ASUN Speaker, the ASUN External Vice President, the ASUN President, two interns, and eight at large members appointed by the ASUN President.
