The Appointments Board is chaired by the Appointments Board chair, who is elected by the Senate. Two additional at-large members are selected by the Executive Committee to complete the three member board. This board reviews applications for all relevant positions, interviews candidates, and then makes qualified recommendations for appointment to the Senate for approval.
