for a message from Uber with your voucher.
Every UNL student will receive one Uber voucher valid for 5 trips (up to $10 off per ride), courtesy of ASUN Student Government.
Use the voucher to pay for late-night transportation near the UNL campus.

January 28–May 10, 2026.

7 days a week
9 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Late-night hours only.
How to upload the voucher to your Uber account
The email from Uber will have step-by-step instructions for you to follow.

First, check your Spam or Junk folders in your @huskers.unl.edu inbox (or your email on record in MyRed).
If you still do not locate the email from Uber, send a message to asun1@unl.edu requesting the voucher to be resent to you. Please allow up to two business days for a reply.
Voucher Guidelines
- Valid for UNL undergraduate and graduate students only.
- You will receive one Uber voucher valid for 5 trips (up to $10 off per ride).
- Delivery will occur to your @huskers.unl.edu inbox (or your email on record in MyRed) on January 28, 2026.
- Voucher is valid until May 10, 2026.
- Rides must originate and end within a 3-mile radius of the UNL City/East campuses or the Lincoln Airport (refer to map).
- Valid for UberX rides only; not valid for Uber Eats or other Uber services.
- If a ride costs less than $10, the remaining balance for that specific trip does not roll over.
- If it costs more than $10, your personal payment method will be charged the difference.
- Voucher can be applied to cost of the ride only; it cannot be used for tips.
- Qualifying rides will automatically default to the voucher as the payment method. If you do not want to apply the voucher to a ride, switch the payment method before confirming the pickup.
Determining if a ride qualifies for the 3-mile radius
Within the Uber app, enter the destination address in the Where To? field. If your ride qualifies, the app automatically defaults to the voucher as the payment method.
Track your Ride Balance
To see how many of your 5 rides are remaining, go to the 'Wallet' or 'Payment' section of your Uber app and tap on the Husker Late Night Ride voucher.
Tipping
Remember: The voucher covers the ride fare only.
Please consider tipping your driver through your personal payment method. This encourages a safe and reliable network for all students.
Blue circles are the approximate area where voucher is valid for use.
Rides must ORIGINATE and END within the blue circles shown on the map image. Includes a 3 mile radius of UNL's city and east campuses, plus the Lincoln Airport.
