Show your support to endow scholarships for future ASUN Presidents and Vice Presidents
A new fund - Marlene K. Beyke Fund for Excellence - has been established with the University of Nebraska Foundation.
Once endowed, the fund will provide $15,000 in annual scholarships for future ASUN President and Vice Presidents, who tirelessly dedicate themselves to serving and improving the student experience at Nebraska.
Honor the legacy of both Marlene and ASUN Student Government with a donation to build the fund towards an endowment.
Your generosity will strengthen ASUN for the future.

A message from Marlene
Dear Colleagues and Friends,
After 46 years of dedicated service to ASUN and the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, I am writing to share that I am retiring from my role as Director of Administration.
While God’s timing has led me to make this transition a bit earlier than I had anticipated, I remain deeply grateful to be continuing my journey of rehabilitation and healing. After a four-month hospital stay, I’ve been reminded daily of the power of faith, perseverance, and community. For those interested in following my continuing recovery, you can visit my CaringBridge page.
This moment offers me time to reflect on a career filled with purpose, growth, and the tremendous privilege of serving students. Since 1978, I have had the honor of working alongside generations of talented and passionate student leaders. Contributing to ASUN's growth from a campus student council into a thriving and impactful model of student government has been a source of immense pride. I am continually inspired by the students who have come through our doors and who are now making a difference in their communities, near and far.
To my colleagues, collaborators, and friends across the university: thank you for your unwavering support, shared vision, and the many partnerships that have enriched both my professional journey and personal life. Your dedication and care for our students have meant the world to me.
Though I am stepping away from this chapter, I would love to stay in touch.
With heartfelt appreciation and warmest wishes for your continued success.
Sincerely,
Marlene K. Beyke
