‘Pickle with a Purpose’: FCLA hosts Pickleball tournament for Husker Pantry

The Freshman Campus Leadership Association and the Association of Students of the University of Nebraska hosted their annual philanthropy event Wednesday.

FCLA members selected Pickle with a Purpose, a pickleball tournament, as this year’s philanthropy event. The tournament was held at the Vine Street Recreation Fields tennis courts, and all proceeds were donated to the Husker Pantry.

“I’m really proud of all the individual work that all of them put in,” FCLA Director Mallory Ringenberg said. “I feel like we capitalized on a lot of their strengths.”
