Any records maintained by an educational institute with information personally identifying you as an individual are defined as education records. In other words, these records directly relate to you as a student. Education Records do not include law enforcement, doctor-patient, and alumni records.
FERPA is not violated by the posting of directory information. You can request that your directory information not be published.
