Schneider, Horizon wins ASUN executive election, senate majority

The Association of Students of the University of Nebraska (ASUN) is the student government at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. 

Consisting of elected officials, appointed officials, and committees, its primary goal is to serve as the representative voice of the student body. 

ASUN derives its authority from the Board of Regents.

Open to all UNL students. Entry fee is $10 for a 2-person team.

An evening ceremony to honor the service and leadership of the student government’s 2025-26 executives, senators, and committees during the past year. 

The program will conclude with the installation of the new officer team and senators for the 2026-27 term.

300 students needed for The Big Event

This year's event is Saturday, April 11.  

Through service-oriented activities, students come together for one day to express their gratitude for the support from the surrounding community.

Husker Late Night Ride Voucher

Every UNL student will receive one Uber voucher valid for 5 trips (up to $10 off per ride).

Use the voucher to pay for late-night transportation near the UNL campus.

ASUN awards grant for student advocacy event

ASUN’s Grant Selections Committee awarded a $400 grant to Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. to host “How to Advocate for Yourself and Your Community.” The event equipped students with advocacy tools, shared resources from Civic Nebraska and Nebraska Appleseed, and created space for students to voice concerns about recent campus changes.
