If you test over .08 on the preliminary breath test, then the officer has established probable cause to arrest you for DUI. Most likely you will then be transported to Cornhusker Place Detoxification Center where the arresting officer will direct you to take a chemical test of your blood, breath, or urine.
The officer is allowed to choose the test. A breath test on the Intoxilyzer machine is most commonly used in Lancaster County and throughout Nebraska.
